Well considering he lost money on the LA residency for the sake of awesomeness, maybe he plans to do the the box set in oak...

my forum name here came from when I was coming up with pseudonyms for our band to play secret shows...it's a combination of two bands from the UK, Klaxons and Maximo Park.

It's going to be soo cool!
Although, I am wondering what the box will be like?
Materials? i have no idea.
Klaximo, what is your name after?

It would be kind of sweet in the box set though.. :D one of my favorite lines is the "watching the urban decay" one... genius IMO.

It's cool, we good engineer. I also hate it when it seems that somebody is giving bullshit information when they probably don't know anything - and it's hard to tell if anyone knows anything about anything at all, really, let's face it, so certainly I understand what you were saying.

I like to hope that I could resist buying a piece of that blacktop.....

HEY I WOULD PURCHASE IT. (=

I was trying to lighten the mood then I get slammed.. lol

:o :(

or maybe just you

Would anyone happen to be selling any asphalt from Ludlow street? I bet tha would seel to Julian fans..

turns out you're not that bad. (=
hey, i'm sorry.
The think is that Klaximo does not know much. at all actually. he's basing prices off one fucking brand of shit.
How is that not insulting me?

Hopefully if I make this shorter you'll read through more than one fourth of it. Clearly i said that there are plenty of cheaper options that are awesome, as in the jackets that I wear and, from what you've said, the ones that you wear. But he was looking for Fab's jacket - I just took a stab, based on the fact that lots of successful musicians like Dior Homme. I guess I'll just kept my bitch-ass idiot mouth closed in future.
It's like looking at a piece of asphalt and saying it comes from Ludlow St., New York.
That, however, was amusing. So you have brought it back a bit.

I read through one fourth and said: "wait a minute, this bitch is already wrong." (=
Good, you love clothing. Who gives a shit. "Obviously never been to a boutique" is what made me laugh. Really. Which idiot looks at a jacket (that looks like any other) and assume where it comes from? Honestly, THAT is already proof of your . . . genius.

My definition of designer clothing is well-applied. My sister IS a designer. I've already said much. But let me tell YOU that you have no idea you I am, or even you are.

Moral of the story:

Guys, don't listen to this guy.
You want nice quality leather jackets such as those, and don't want to spend what an idiot would spend?
Look into stores such as French Connections and so forth. Very good prices for quality. And some might not be able to afford that so
just keep looking. There are great deals everywhere. Don't listen to idiots who try to guess where a clone comes from. I'm trying to help.

Moral of the story for klaximo:

don't assume where kids come from.
Nobody insulted you.

engineer, clealy you have never been to a boutique, and what you consider a "designer" is quite different to what a designer actually is. I didn't just google this shit - I love clothes, especially leather jackets...it just sucks being broke! I suggested that it's probably Dior Homme, who's in season t-shirts tend to run around $200-$500, jeans around the $400-$800 mark, and leather jackets around $4000. A quality leather jacket is a sound investment - if you get one that looks amazing on you and that maybe only twenty other people in the world have, you're talking serious cat walk designer shit, and that's often the kind of jacket famous people wear regularly.

yes, of course you can buy cheaper leather jackets that do the job perfectly well. my lead guitarist just got a Diesel one shipped from the states for $900 that is very cool - really nice leather, slim-fitting cut, all that shit. I have a brown D&G (note D&G which is their jeans line rather than the Dolce & Gabanna black label boutique) leather jacket that is crazy awesome that I got for a steal at $800 on eBay.

but the topic of this discussion is "Fabrizio Moretti's Leather Jacket", and when famous band members are seen wearing the same leather jacket often, it tends to be the kind of jacket that you cant just drop into any store at your local mall and buy with your ATM card.

Now, if Hiro had said, "I have $1000 to spend on a new leather jacket and i want it to look like Fab's one, talk to me..." then I wouldn't have said he has to spend 4k. But he asked for that specific jacket and, who knows? Maybe Hiro is loaded.

At least now I know why nobody likes you, "TheEngineer".
It's hard to tell for sure, but it looks like Dior Homme to me. And if it is indeed dior, it'll be a Hedi Slimane era (2000-2007) design so will be close to impossible to find now. Honestly, if you really want a jacket like that, you'd need a spare $4000 minimum. And both Dolce & Gabbana and Dior Homme have excellent men's black leather jackets if you're willing to be tasteful with your choice.
The think is that Klaximo does not know much. at all actually. he's basing prices off one fucking brand of shit. i have three leather jackets, one like Alex Turner's
another like Julian's

and another like Miles Kane.

All of which fit me perfectly, all fitted (tight) and petite.

ALL LEATHER! and i did not spend that absurd amount on them. (and yes, they were designer clothing lines)

you saying, if you're going to spread shit, make it accurate.

I love the designer clothes, man. I'm looking forward to when I can own some more that I don't have to buy on eBay!

How do you know so much about that stuff klaximo?
