ROF is the best Strokes album

Posted by Vegetal on

The media preasure, the drugs, the hard drinking, courtney love and fame... they are all in this album. Contrary to critics I always think the second albums are the best ones.

That should be bested before applying since pearly treatment can be related to the problem later.

As per a survey conducted by music company based in United States ROF is selected as the best album from the acclaimed music band “The Strokes”.

ROF was one of the best selling albums in their career and also the favorite one of many people including me. Thanks for sharing this news.

I'm new here, so hi everybody. Room on Fire is definitely the best album, mainly because it's just great track after great track, I don't think any of the songs sound like the ones off Is This It. I think people should sort their ears out if they think that

thats not why i like the album.
thats all pish posh. i like the album because its damn good music.
as the strokes. it helps that they're cute too~ :)

this is 'is this it' mark 2. a good album but not very innovative

I most agree with that!I so love this album!all this songs are brilliant:
what ever happened
reptilia
12:51
between love and hate
meet me in the batheoom
the end has no end

If Otan says so, just believe her !

agree! rof does get far too less love

This album blows. The only songs that are worth mentioning is "What Ever Happened", and "Under Control". "Reptilia" is overrated and gets boring by the third time it hits the chorus. Everything else is boring shitty indie rock. At least with Firtst Impressions you have hard rocking, soulful tunes like "Vision of Division" and "Electricityscape". Damn, I wish they would've taken three years.

I also think it's their best one. No other one has a mood quite enigmatic and dirty as this one.
Yeah I don't see why everyone always says that Room On Fire is a simple "copy" of Is This It. Is This It didn't have any song that sounds like 12:51 (with the synth effect) or Reptilia (much darker than their usual) and the list goes on. Oh, and also I find it hilarious that people complain that this is TOO much like the original album but then they go on to complain even more that First Impressions of Earth is TOO much unlike their original album. That is so stupid. Anyways, just the album keeps the simliar recording style and similiar techniques doesn't mean it is a copy. It is a clear step towards higher musical accomplishment but people just love lumping things together with other things just because it is easiest at the moment. This album is great all on its on but it is not their best album because First Impressions of Earth is/
I 100% totally agree with you on that and what some people say about their albums, so true especially how FIOE is their best yet....

Also, where is the courtney love reference within in this album (ROF), anyone know???

This album has Reptilia, which is easily one of the best Strokes songs. I don't understand why somebody wouldn't like this album, Reptilia, 12:51, The End Has No End, and pretty much everything else on the album is excellent.

This is my fave album!!! The whole cd is good. I erally like some of the other songs from the other ones, overall this one has the best songs on it, not a single one i wouldnt listen to again and again. PERIOD.

Room on Fire is the Strokes worst album. It lacks energy, creativity, and emotion. And also, it's basically a repeat of Is This It, which brings it down on my list.

hard drinking hard gambling have you ever seen a rockstar pendejo gamble 1000 dollar chips all night? its just heart fluttering

yeah i totally agree that Room on Fire is the best album (not for any of those reasons though), it's well produced but not too over-produced, a real way-point between the 1st and 3rd.
