Yep, here we don't want to see you (please) so post an inspiring, funny or what-you-want pic.
Also, keep it clean.

A red harvest moon, which occurs in the autumn when there's a lot of dust and debris in the air from farmers harvesting their crops and the moon is lower in the atmosphere. Sometimes it's orange too.
And a black rose.
A harvest moon, also called a Pink Moon, is supposedly a harbinger of doom. In the Bible they said it will appear before the Apocolypse. Nick Drake wrote an awesome song about it.
this is my pic on hte.com
Whoo, I finally figured out how to get the photos off my mobile onto my Macintosh. This photo here is of my cat, Patches (sorry it's kind of blurry)
aaaw, how cool, is it near to your house ? I wanna go picnic there ! you're so lucky : )
Not really. It's still a pic from near my last job so more than one hour far by car. I had picnics there for lunches. : )
You haven't lived until you've experienced every single wonder of nature. In this case, the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. The mountains, the lakes, the trails (like in this photo), all so beautiful.
A waterfall, maybe or maybe not the one I saw a long time ago and have a picture of a group of mentors/friends standing in front of:
And a favourite snap shot of the Red Rocks:

Picnic place. : P

woow, it seems a very lonely place, it would be nice to be with someone you really care about.
I see what you mean :/
I used to work for a company located in the middle of nothing. And this was pretty much the only advantage of being there early after driving hours :
rodents are not rodents..?
lost your train of thought there dearie?
rodents are not rodents. hamsters are way cuter than rats and i loved that pic.
Eh. Rodents are rodents. I like rats, but I only ever had one. They aren't disgusting, they're quite clean, very meticulous about bathing, just like cats. And mine was very even-tempered. She never bit me that I can remember. However, I don't like mice so much. My brother used to have some to feed a species of lizard called a "monitor", which is very ugly and mean. I felt sorry for the mice if nothing else.
That reminds me, I used to have some of these:
They're called anoles, and they're very very cute, but if they ever get out of their cage, they can be hard to catch. Once when I was away at school, my mum had to feed them and take care of them, but an old cat we used to have sneaked into my room when she wasn't there, sat on the cage, and it broke, so the lizards got loose, and he managed to catch and eat one. Or so I was told. I haven't owned anoles since then, 8-9 years ago. I'm really a cat person : )

wrong. the colour and size of the moon around the time of the autumnal equinox appears that way because of the earth's ecliptic plane in the fall. when the moon is low in the sky it appears red or orange because the atmosphere allows red particles a straighter, more direct path to our eyes, whereas blue scatters.
the only reason it was called a harvest moon is because it takes place in the fall and because it was so bright it was said to afford more time to farmers to plow their crops, so they did not rot in the fields.
google that shit before you spout wrongs, yo.
wow that was bitchy.
Rats. I don't like rats.
My mum has a Guinea pig and I don't mind holding it.
That's actually cute. Reminds me of people I see eating sometimes, they stuff their faces if they think no one is watching, but if someone sees them, they stop for a moment and look a little embarrassed.
I'm guessing that's not you holding the animal since you dislike rodents?
wow, I havent read this thread in awhile and I actually agree with strokesnerd on this one... ARE YOU FUCKIN SERIOUS PEOPLE!!!! cmon, some of you got to be fucking kidding me, seriously, are yall fo real.... but thats all I have to say, actually
"I have nothing to say. I'm in utter dismay....."
And I actually like how we post stupidities in our own threads and completely take them else where and make it what it was not at all intended for to begin with, that is us....
Also, I found this pic a couple days and JuJu instantly made me laugh, I love their shoes, so for those who havent seen it, hope it makes you laugh as well.....
I should have quoted the article where I got that from. That's what the article said, not me. And now I can't find the damn article so I'm sure you're sitting there shaking your head at me. That'll teach me to remember my composition and rhetoric class in college :/ I've been away from school too long, time to go back, I think.

Ok, I'll admit it before I post it: this is a stupid photo, but it is funny. You've been warned.
It got partly cut off by the camera, I can't find a better version. As for those of you who saw the film, you may have deduced (by what little visible writing there is) that it says "why so serious?" on the bill.
Ghandi would have been an awesome name for this kitty.
Oh no, I don't think Ghandi is a proper name for a cat, I think some ppl would feel offended, just imagine you at the street calling out your cat: "Ghandi... come here boy! Ghandi!" nooo way, Ghandi was such character to be ridicule like that.
i look like an idiot compared to them.
Ghandi would have been an awesome name for this kitty.
it is from a friend... his name is Randy, the first time she told me his name I misheard "Ghandi" and I was like: "WHAT?!"
Awwww : )
Is it yours ?
Earth to MB:
You guys aren't the first ones to debate (or in some cases, name-call like schoolchildren) about WWII and Hitler.
Unless somebody on here is a neo-nazi, I think everybody can just chill out for a minute.
Our current president is a textbook sociopath (you only need three of these traits to qualify):
1. Failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest;
2. Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeatedly lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure;
3. Impulsivity or failure to plan ahead;
4. Irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults;
5. Reckless disregard for safety of self or others;
6. Consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations;
7. Lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.
I think I would qualify for #1, #3, #5 (only for the self part), and #6. I definitely don't qualify for #4 or #7 though. Am I a sociopath?
Look. I understand what you're saying about considering both sides of each conflict, in this case the Holocaust. I think you have the right idea about educating ourselves with all possible materials: books, testimonies, video footage, et al. But in this instance, I just don't see a peaceful end to the arguing. I disagree with you that Rick was "just giving us a different perspective" about Hitler. He was, in fact, defending his character and trying to make it sound like he had no blame in it, like "Oh poor Hitler. He was just an average man who happened to get caught up in a terrible chain of events that led to genocide on a massive scale. But he's really a neat person." It's such bullshit. I don't respect people who willingly and knowingly defend psychotic murderers like Hitler. That's all he was: a murderer who gained too much popularity and used it to claim as many victims as he could shove into the gas chambers all over the concentration camps in Europe.
I would recommend all of you go to the Holocaust Museum, in Washington, D.C., or at least visit the website: http://www.ushmm.org
That ought to silence the ignoramuses on this board.
let's do this.
let's all of us educate ourselves on BOTH sides of this argument.
let's all read the books. not just the American versions. books written by both sides. we cant just read the one-sided views and be content with it and be convinced that it's the truth.
listen. no one here is defending hitler or what he did or what he caused.
rick is just giving us a different perspective.
Yeah, I know. But I was using his medium, in this case a book, to make my point that he rejects all common knowledge and facts not only about Hitler but the entire Holocaust and World War 2. It's incredible that people can still defend Hitler's character and say that it wasn't (at least partially) his fault and that he wasn't really a bad person. That is the kind of thinking that keeps hatred alive and kicking.
Well, seeing as how he said we're all sheep who just believe what we are taught in school - which usually involves reading - I doubt he'd be willing to read a book on the subject.
The really pathetic thing about this is that you don't even have to read or go to school to be educated on this topic... just turn on The History channel or as I like to call it, The Nazi Nostradamus Jesus Code Channel.
hmm. i have # 1., 3., and 5.
wonder what that means..
Lol, in your case I'd say it means you're in the 15-25 age range.
Well, seeing as how he said we're all sheep who just believe what we are taught in school - which usually involves reading - I doubt he'd be willing to read a book on the subject.
Just goes to show the wonders of social conditioning. Ya'll think Hitler was awful because that was what you have been taught to think. Just like a hypnopaedic slogan repeated over and over. Social conditioning.
In reality, Hitler was no worse then any other leader back then. He was certainly better then Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mussolini, among others. Germany was kinda right about WW2, actually, they had gotten fucked by WW1 and were just fighting back. The only thing really bad about the Nazis was the Holocaust, and if you know anything about Hitler or the Nazis, you'd know he had almost nothing to do with that. He didn't want to kill Jews, or minorities; he just wanted all non German people to leave Germany. He was a total racist, that is true.
Now say it - Baaaa, baaaaaa.. Im a sheep who repeats everything I was taught in school !
the only bad thing the nazis did was the holocaust??
please do me a favor and shut up. don't try defending hitler. He was a crazy evil man who initiated the killing of millions of people just because he didn't like them. yes it was his idea. he had a screw lose. he was power hungry. now talking to the rest of you's. I can't say he was TOTALLY EVIL because nobody does things to be TOTALLY EVIL. everyone believes they're right. thats true. charlie manson thought he was right in brainwashing and killing. i'm not defending him.
rick, you are an ignorant idiot and i hope you get punched in the face sometime soon. i'll have you know i'm genuinely offended by the stupid things you have jsut said.
GO READ A FUCKING BOOK AND EDUCATE YOURSELF!
Your lack of an education (or your blatant refusal to accept the one you were given) is pitiful. You have no idea about WW2 and I suggest you actually study it more closely before coming in here and spreading your ignorance. You're rebelling against common sense for the sake of it which is much worse than "repeating everything you were taught in school". Believe it or not, the things you're taught in school are, for the most part, very very true.
In short, you're a cunt and I hope you never have kids.
"Today I will once more be a prophet: If the international Jewish financiers in and outside Europe should succeed in plunging the nations once more into a world war, then the result will not be the Bolshevization of the earth, and thus the victory of Jewry, but the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe!"
