So, we have no threads like this about books. And I figure I can't be the only bookworm on this forum, and so it made sense to create one on the subject. I have too many books to mention, so I'll just do a few right now:
Anything by Haruki Murakami, but I like these two the most out of his current work:
Norwegian Wood (extremely romantic, but not sappy)
The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (some parts are profoundly disturbing)
Sometimes I like to read multiple books at once, right now I think I'm at 5. One of them includes this:
The Overcoat and Other Tales of Good and Evil, by Nicolai Gogol.
It has about 6 short stories in it, and I just read the first called The Terrible Vengeance.
I'm also reading:
Sixty Million Frenchmen Can't Be Wrong by Jean Benoît Nadeau and Julie Barlow
The Good Earth, by Pearl Buck
and finally, Bonjour Tristesse by Françoise Sagan
How about you guys?
